Overseer, Shieldbearer
A Zandalari troll born in the royal capital of Zuldazar, is a former soldier whose path has been marked by determination and unyielding ambition. Trained to become a prelate but never completing the process, Zanturu nonetheless sought to wield the power of the Light, even after the fall of Rezan, the Loa of Kings. His journey took him far from Zandalar, aligning with the Horde and later joining the neutral Argent Crusade, where he found purpose in protecting the defenceless and learned about other cultures. Years of service on the cold battlefields of Northrend honed Zanturu’s resolve, but they also left him restless and searching for more. Determined to master the Light and learn more about life, he now looks to new horizons for wisdom and inner balance. His exploration and research within the Institute symbolise not just a quest for knowledge but a deeper search for harmony between the traditions of his people, the wider world, and the potential for his growth.
